vscan, window mode, anti aliasing

Could someone explain these 3 settings in relation to the game performance...and what they do? Im trying to find the rights settings for smooth player movement using the broadcast cam given the new video card I just purchased.

thanks

Vscan or Vsync? Vsync locks the framerate at 60 frames per second. Allows you to have a smooth consistent game visually.

Windowed mode allows you to play the game in a window. You know when you have a web browser open, you can minimize or close the window. Same thing.

AA smooths out jaggies (makes edges smoother) this feature is the most graphically intensive process your GPU will have to handle between the 3.

if I have all 3 off it seems to be pretty smoth....I have everything else on high at 1280 x 1024( I believe?)

If I turn vsync on it seems to stutter a bit with the player movement

Another thread stated Vsync enabled through the in game settings causes a micro stutter. Depending on the graphics card you can force vsync & AA levels from the nvidia control panel or catalyst control center. But if you are satisfied with the way the game is playing, I would leave all as is.
