Anyone managed to do Rookie Showcase game?

Just got steam version. Played a little of the tutorial.

I started My Player and it has been crashing randomly. I havent been able to complete Rookie Showcase yet :\

First few times it crashed on a timeout in the 3rd quarter and now it crashed a few minutes into the 1st quarter.

I never had problems with 2k11. Is anyone else having this problem?

EDIT: confirming that its crashing only on timeouts. Im gonna go ahead and restart my computer

Got a disc version and already 3 games in, no problem...

Try uninstalling and reinstalling

alright did a save and exit on halftime. Got through rookie showcase.

Now it crashed on the 3rd quarter of my first nba game. Im redownloading it right now and will restart my comp when its done.

The only thing i can think of it thats causing the problem is my graphics card. Its a HD6950. This is assuming its not a bad install though

Just completed it with no problems. Try the usual stuff, updating directx and gpu drivers.

Try the 2K11 trick of deleting the Player1.USR file between each game. Yes, it's kinda annoying having to quit and restart the game all the time, but it worked wonders in 2K11.
