The scoreboard disappearing bug isn't dependent on the scoreboard you use as far as I know.

Only workaround so far is the tool I made and posted in this forum as well.

When I use a new scoreboard from NLSC or moddingway, it has the word "SAMPLE" over it...what am I doing wrong? Also, did anyone get the NBA LIVE icons to work, mine still show up as the normal ones.

The word sample is because the scoreboards were made for 2K12. Putting them in 2K13 works, but causes that "Sample" glitch to show up. With a bit of work they'll be perfected.

As for the NBA Live icons, are you sure the gamedata.iff file extracted to your installation folder and replaced the old gamedata.iff file? You may have extracted it to a subfolder by mistake, so check if any subfolder was created inside your installation folder. If there's a gamedata.iff in there, copy it back to the main installation folder, replace, and you should be done.
