I think a Pro version of a card will be better than a maxed out card of the higher rarity. But Epic will be better long term as eventually you will probably be able to pro that out.

same here and agreed, it's abit late for me to get Legendary card at rank 601-1000 and plus i have no motivation to grind it out over 12+ per day.
