Time has officially slowed down now. This will be my first time playing Rivals. I didn't know what it was in 2k14 so I never joined but I already got some sleep in, got my grind supplies ready too.

Hopefully someone who has done well in Rivals, drops some knowledge in the forums. I want to set a realistic goal because this is my first time playing Rivals. Basically, I'm hoping to obtain my first Epic card through this mode. However an Ultra Rare SF or PF would be perfect too. I need one of either to get me to the UR+ tier.

You can just check out the RC thread... it includes old information there. Its not going to be the same tho because games take slightly longer in 2k15 than 2k14. Also there's a different number of players (not sure more or less). Add to that, line-ups are likely not as good this time around (on average), meaning average scores likely will be lower (without ideal line-ups its harder to win +5). I know my point per hour last year went up each RC 'cause i had better cards i could use.

Last year (or really a few months ago) the tiers were different (at least before i quit) so that might change things a bit too (unless the last few changed to the current tiers). If memory serves top 50 (which is like top 65 now) generally hover ~24k points then. Top 25 was ~30k, top 10 depended on the support card.

Basically if you wanted to get to top 25 without spending $ on RC, you needed to be fast and play ~10-13 hours/day. I did that a few times last year. Not going to play as much this year but i'll probably target a top 300 finish for the first RC.
