Online Game ruined: Right Stick Nullification

I was in my 4th game of the Doctor J Tournament bracket while playing on my team and for some reason, my right stick would not allow me to with it any more - which also means no post moves or right-stick orientated dunks the whole game. I was forced to shoot and try to dunk with box, but most of the time I went up for a dunk with box it was a layup. I needed the right stick to win that game because I go to work in the post with my bigs. But the only use of my right stick was for dribble moves. (I even held the right stick in one direction just to see if it would throw up a shot, and all it did was an hesitation, in and out move). This was frustrating because I knew I could beat my opponent and I hope it doesn't happen again. Has this happened to anyone else?
