My first!!!!

For years I've debated my nephew which game was better. He always said 2K was better and I said NBA Live. I only bought Live 10 and it was a good game and my nephew has bought 2k10-13. I have backed EA for years but today I will buy my first 2K game which will be 2K14 on current gen. I will wait a few years before I make the switch to Next Gen. Especially since there is not a big difference in Graphics on current gen and next gen madden. MLB the show 12 still plays great and look great on current gen and NCAA 14 is still fun. Also I still play fight night champion. But today will be my first NBA 2k game. What should I expect from this game? I have heard mostly good things about the series. Since I played Nba live 10, will I have to make big adjustments in regards to shooting and simply controls compared to how Live 10 played or are those aspects of the game similar in regards to control?

Yes, the biggest adjustment for you will be the controls. Have fun with the game. I recommend giving MyCareer and MyTeam a spin.

There is basically the same gap between NBA2k and EA's Live as there is between how much better MLBTS is over MLB2k. You should be very happy for the most part. IMO nothing compares to MLBTS, cause those devs are in a league of their own, and by far the best at what they do.

I don't know. I started my association mode over after 3 games and the Jerseys were not there. Is it something I'm doing wrong?

Do you have the latest updates? I think those jerseys came post-ship. Otherwise, I don't know. I don't know if you get that stuff in Association mode.

Yes I have the latest update. After 3 games in I started my association over to see if they would come into my new Association but nothing came up. Not a big deal the game is awesome regardless.
