"Please wait, retrieving your files from 2K Sports Server..."

I'm seeing this message at every load screen. I'm not even playing online, but it takes 1-3 minutes to load every time I try to play my offline association. Does anyone know how to make this stop? Thanks.

I'm seeing this a lot too, mostly today while trying to play My Career.

Is it taking a long time for yours to load as well?

The first time it happened to me I thought my Xbox froze, but after about 2 minutes my association finally loaded. It's happening repeatedly so I'd like to find a way to turn it off. I don't think I need servers for my offline association.

I'm just getting this now on PS3. I'd guess taking your console offline. It isn't ideal but it should work for you.

Yeah, unfortunately you may be right. It's a pain in the butt to keep pulling out my xbox to unplug the ethernet cord (because I play other games online), but I'm getting so annoyed I just might do it.

It's even more annoying when it fails to actually retrieve the data.

I've already had it happen twice in my career, I'd finish a game and then it saves and tries to retrieve the file but fails to do so, tells me my data won't be saved and usually just kick me back to the main menu after a while(the one with LeBron showing and you have to press start)

Oddly enough, it does save the VC I earned from the game, though it doesn't save the progress. Meaning I have to replay the same game.

Rented this from red box a couple days ago and it kept doing this today. I couldn't load myplayer or anything. Took that **** straiiiiiiight back and bought fifa. Will try again next year to see if 2k gets their server **** straight. With their reputation I'm certainly not holding my breath lol.
