I wouldn't have overwhleming excitement just based on Ronnie's hyperbole tweets. Remember when Jay Z's intro videos were "one of the biggest announcements in 2k history"?

No to be fair, I think we've just been getting a lot of "not long now" and "it's close" from LD2K..... nothing really indicative of a date......

There was a bit of controversy over a tweet that read "one more sleep" or something along those lines, but officially he could have been referring to anything....

Then finally on Saturday (Friday US) we got something about "next week".....

So officially, 2K have not misled us.......

Key word there is "officially". The hinting was annoying. Would have been best to not saying anything at all.

Yeah we aren't teenage girls waiting for the next "tweet" from our favorites boy band. We are sports gamers wanting info on a major purchase we are considering making in a few weeks.

Even though I'll be playing other games nba2k is the only reason I'm considering buying near launch. Some footage and detailed info would be nice........I could easily stick with my 360 for madden and BF4
