First thing I'm gonna do is change Tyreke Evans's role into Sixth Man. Pelicans are going to bring Evans off the bench unless Evans has objected.

I didn't say that they need to mo-cap him.

Guy I know basketball and I don't care how blind you are but more than 90% of the time in real life, a good shooter that wide open gonna take that shot. No where am I bashing the game this time just stating facts, the CPU is passing up some good shots for dumb ones.

Not necessarily. Players, even at the professional level make bone headed plays all the time. Humans aren't flawless. It's the CPU, and it's a video game.

But the guy was right. If you see a player running at you full speed the best thing is to go by them. The defender even jumped out of control. Eric Gordon can put the ball on the floor and attack the basket. I've seen him play in person. In that situation, the CPU should of did a one dribble pull up jumper. But in real life he could of made the mistake of dribbling into the defense. Happens all the time.

the AI was pushed out of bounds by the user and fouled. Gordons tendencies are driving before shooting same as he does IRL

Re: NBA 2K14 Video - New Orleans Pelicans vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

One thing that looks different to me is where the help D is triggered on drives. On PC last year, it seemed that the defender wouldn't provide much help unless the ball handler got to the restricted area. This year, the D is visibly more aware of what's going on on the perimeter and the CPU AI help D would meet the ball handler at the FT line or the edge of the paint which should improve the drive and kick game considerably.

Here are a few examples.

:15 - Thompson and Bynum meet the ball handler at the corner of the line which influenced him to pass to the open man on the wing.

1:11 - Look at the lane Irving has to make the pass!

2:09 - The D triple teams the ball handler but the kick out pass is made too late.

3:40 - Anderson sees Irving blow by his man on the pseudo-break and meets him at the FT line.

YESSSSSSSSSS!!!

That was dope as hell!!! I noticed that as well. the stadium music and the crowd atmosphere has been vastly improved.

Franchise Play has another video on YouTube where John Wall puts a move on the defender and drives to the pain and the crowd gasp loudly. I love that sh*t!!!!!

GOOD JOB 2K!!!!!!
