Hope they've added some new ones too this year, but no evidence of that here.

What is wrong with you? That is Alonzo Mourning in that picture.

A few pages back I said I didn't mean Alonzo but the Rockets bench is visible in the background. I was talking about the generic players on the bench.

I am well aware of who Alonzo Mourning is

He was typically not a dunker, even less so in '89 than earlier in his career. It'd kind of be like a 2K screenshot emerging of Chris Paul dunking over Kevin Garnett then someone posting this as proof that it's okay:

Again though, no worries on this end because all that stuff is editable in a split second. I just wonder who decided Isiah tomahawk dunking would be the best screenshot to throw out there.
I am well aware that Thomas was not Dominique Wilkins 2.0. The video is only proof to show that the man COULD dunk in an nba game to show the poster I was responding to that he could indeed dunk. I was not counting how many times the man dunked in a game over the course of his career when I was growing up. There are many people in the pros who aren't typically dunkers who have dunked in an NBA game. Does that mean 2k should never put out a screenshot with X player attempting to dunk a ball? Like you said though not a big deal VD and this is the least of 2k14's issues to worry about.

You know, that's always been something I've kind of wondered about actually. Is there any way a game can account for those super rare dunkers? The kind of guys who have countless opportunities to jam each year, yet only choose to go through with it once in a blue moon? It seems 2K has tried to make headway on that front with dunking tendencies, but it still tends to be all-or-nothingish; as in, if Isiah has a high enough attribute to dunk, he tends to do it too much. Yet, if his attribute is too low to dunk, we never see him dunk.

My feelings on the likes of Isiah Thomas and Chauncey Billups is 99 out of 100 times I attack the rim with them, they should be attempting a layup of some kind. But how do we get that rare dunk? Is it possible to get that result without overdoing it? I'm not so sure at this point.

Anyway, yeah, no big deal. I thought that original poster knew Isiah could dunk, but was just surprised to see such a rare instance being used for a screenshot, since it'd likely insinuate a general regularity of occurrence within the game itself.

I really hope we get a green yellow iteration of the sonics jerseys and court. That would be awesome

Yeah that would be very hard to do in a hoop game VD. Tendencies help in regards to curtailing certain CPU controlled players from dunking but a user has the ability to override any tendencies thru stick input. The only way you could do this imo would be to take a little control away from the user and leave it somewhat to stats/probability/tendencies. For example say LBJ has a 50/50 ratio in regards to finishing with a dunk over a layup. You would then make the turbo + shot stick equate to both dunk/layup attempt and the tendency decides which one you get-Random yet based on stats as well as user input. Therefore 5/10 times LBJ will attempt a dunk over layup. Now say Thomas had a 1/99 dunk/layup ratio-This would mean every time you drove strong to the hoop Zeke would attempt a dunk 1/100 drives when turbo+shot stick is engaged. This would create those wow moments when a certain player dunks. That way where ever u would place the dunk/layup tendency could dictate how often you see X player dunk. Of course dunk ability/rating for X player still determines the type of dunks they can do. I would be ok with this type of system but I know most people don't like not being in control of every aspect of the game.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with color conversion for different output devices. It might actually look red on their computers. I notice the color red can look very different in one colorspace to another. But regardless, I never understood why they could not fixed it or at least explained what could have caused it.

Look at the blue and red in the Pistons uniform though

The red and blue on the uniforms from this angle looks fine. Then look at Jordan, Iverson and you have a faded red, or the Warriors with a fade of blue. I have no idea how the conversion works but their current method needs work.
