Um, how can I go about using updated rosters realistically?

Alrighty, so I used the new updated rosters from the 2k Share that was updated yesterday, and it has everything correct. Transactions, contract salaries, draft picks w/cyber faces, even the Pelicans and Suns new logos. The whole shabang. So I thought I could do an Association Mode and just use the start date set to "Today" and just begin in the offseason. Or so I thought. Turns out, it starts on April 17, 2013(The last day of the season), and what's worse is that it asks if I should either load a Draft Class or have the game Auto-Generate rookies, where I have rosters that already would have that offseason's draft class placed on it. I've no idea on what to do in terms of essentially playing the 2013-2014 season realistically. Any ideas on what I should do?

Download a draft class for next year then play normally. Just look for a draft class in 2kshare for the 2014 season

But wouldn't I have Wiggins class being drafted in what would be the 2013 draft in the off season? So then I'd have guys like Wiggins and Noel up for rookie of the year awards in the 2013-2014 season? If that's the best I'd get, then I guess I'd be fine w/that.

Two ways to go about this:

1) Use current rosters but start at the beginning of the season.

2) Use playoff rosters and start at today's date, load the current rookies in the draft class and make all the offseason moves yourself.

I suggest method 1.

So was this an official 2K roster update or was it one that you found just browsing? If you remember the gamertag if it was a custom made one it'd be awesome if you could let us know who it was.
