Dribble Stick Option

I've been reading up on the dribble stick option and am not very enthused by it. Is there the option to shoot without dribble stick turned on (in other words shooting via the standard button press method)? Thanks.

Yes you can shoot with the bottom still.

the dribble stick is a cool addition that I like. You should try to use it even a little for crossovers and spin moves.
But even with the dribble stick on, the x (shoot) button will always work as well.
