im confused, are they releasing it for ps4? & if they are why are they releasing it so much earlier than the ps4 which is "rumored" to be coming out during december?

It launches October 1st for current generation consoles. When next gen consoles launch the next gen versions will launch with them.

I'm not buying 2K14 for the current gen if its coming out on the next-gen release. That means i won't play it until Nov/Dec
