GSW "elevator doors" play

Is it in the game? Or something similar?

I mostly just run horns with Curry. Works wonders with Klay and Jefferson/Barnes in the corners.

The closest thing I see is 77 Trey. But it isn't close to being as effective as IRL.

I think there is a play that ressembles this one on the 76ers playbook. I'll check it out for you.

Re: GSW "elevator doors" play

Hmm, the best option would probably be Horns Split Screen (Mid Range -- Hornets). It's not exactly like that play, but it gives you the same off-ball double screen action coming up to the top.

Another play that's not exactly like it, but Horns Drop 4 (Low Post -- Raptors) creates something similar also, albeit with a single screen up top, not double. The only catch is it's not called for a perimeter player, so it'll only work for the 1 or 2 (providing both are play initiators).

Call the play (again, it's a low post play, so you have to call it for someone with that option), and instead of passing to one of the high posts, take the dribble option, and dribble to the wing (you'll dribble towards the other guard). That opposite guard will then screen for one big (the player you called the play for), then will run to the top of the key off of a screen from the other big.
