IDK why it's doing this but sometimes when I press X it WILL NOT SHOOT!! I lost my do or die match in MyTeam because of it and I was finally about to get Magic.. I'm so mad right now. Its not my controller either because I can try to steal anytime and have tested it out.. Its really making me mad its so frustrating.. has it happened to anyone else?

I tried.. Thought I put that in the first post but I guess I didnt but yeah Ive tried 3.. all of them wont let me shoot with X at some point or another

This has happened to me before too in game winning situations I end up having to use the right stick and ends up early because of the time left from trying to shoot with x

I only use X to shoot and that has never happened to me in any 2K ever. Probably just your controller or the way you are pressing X when you try to shoot.

It's happened to me, and it's not the controller. For some unknown reason, the X button will randomly stop working and you will not be able to shoot with it. The best way to counter this is to fully master the shot stick, which I have yet to do.

you are probably trying to shoot too early. What I mean by that is you may already be pressing X to shoot but the pass is just getting to you. I can't really explain it but it has happened to me before.

There are times where you cannot shoot or pass the ball. It doesn't happen that often but it does happen. A timeout usually fixes it (no kidding lol). When you play a fair player that's less of a problem but if you don't know the guy he'll probably not gonna give you the possession back though.
