Freethrow Shooting

Needs to be toned down or at least made harder for players that are horrible freethrows shooters, I have seen so many people including myself who have shot upwards to 70 and 80 percent with horrible shooters. People like Dwight Howard, Deandre Jordan, Blake Griffin, Javale McGee, etc. peopke have no problems hitting their freethrows. I think the freethrows thing needs to be turned down for certain players because its ridiculous.

It hasn't made sense for years, the difficulty or success should have nothing to do with the difficulty of your release which is how it is now.

yes, but is this even enabled for online useage? It seems this is more important for online players then offliners, who can switch between the settings as necessary.

They should go back to the moving basketball you had to line up horizontally and vertically, it moved slow for good shooters and impossibly fast for bad shooters.

Re: Freethrow Shooting

It has been a problem with FT shooting the past 2 years;

For offline, CPU and user will shoot a very high percentage even difficulty is on 100

For online, 2K need to have real FT % period!

I don't mean this as any kind of disagreement, but the players mentioned here have decent form on their free throws, and the consensus opinion seems to be that their problem is mental. I think the game does a pretty good job of making it hard to shoot with players that have terrible form/a major hitch in their release, like Shaq or Chuck Hayes. What would be a good, immersive way to simulate mental difficulty for players with a technically decent shot? Controller vibration can be turned off, so it would have to be audiovisual stimulus...maybe a voice saying "don't miss" over and over, or "I can't let my team down again", and/or add irregular screen wobble/blur the player slightly so you can't see the release point clearly? What would stress out the average 2k player enough to make them miss?
