Why People Complain About Online Threes

I just played a guy who had the Clippers and literally played 1-3-1 the ENTIRE game. No matter how many 3's I made, he'd stay in the 1-3-1. I'm sure he's one of the people that complain about how 3's are too easy to make. Well when you have a 3 shooting team, like the Knicks, and leave shooters wide open in the corner, you're going to lose. I just kind of wanted to show somebody this outrageous game, I wish I had a way to record it.

To be fair your opponent didn't know how to use the 1-3-1, you can shutdown 3s even in that set.

But still, it's fairly easy to beat a 1-3-1. Just space the floor, take your time, get some dribble penetration, and use your center to relay the ball to the corner for an open 3.

I agree if the person running it is a casual player of 2k. Those player like myself who know how to run it, its hard for people to shoot, drive or run plays. The 1-3-1 is overpowered when properly utilized.

I'm sorry but this is idiotic and stupid....sorry to use those words, but there is no other way to describe it.

I play man-to-man and see 3's going in at a completely unrealistic rate. With Carmelo hitting 3's from halfway between the 3-pt line and halfcourt.

Sorry but most of you who try to rationalize this don't have a clue...you're mostly cheesers just like the rest of the lot.

Have you played online recently? The 3's are actually tolerable. As long as you get a hand in their face, you should be fine.

I'm not saying that all guys who complain about how easy 3's are play 1-3-1, as I have seen some unrealistic shots go down and I play man.

I think the 3's are perfect right now. If you're open, you'll knock them down 45-50% of the time. If contested, the risk of a miss increases greatly.

My point is that guys try to cheese with the 1-3-1, and then complain about 3's going in at a high rate, even though the shots were wide open in the corner from great shooters.

Tolerable my ***! I played a game today where a kid did absolutely nothing but shoot 3's with me in his face. He hit way more than anyone should have. My lineup was Derek Harper, Ronnie Brewer, Luol Deng, Kevin Durant and Olajuwon so clearly my defense was not a problem.

People complain because...

1.Three's are now too easy online.
2.You can hit 60% of your three's with ease.

Oh and 2k claims to be the "#1 Selling Simulation Game", yet they seemed to cater casual users in 2k12 & 2k13.


If it was up to me they should have kept it the way it was before this new patch, then fix them glitches (such as the euro-step 3, which ppl are complaining about also), and boost up the cpu defense such a contesting shots, paint contact etc.
