Is it possible to gain signature skills in Association mode?

apart from editing a player manually, will players be able to develop/decline signature skills over time automatically?

Players will gain AND lose signature skills over time in association mode. Examples:

Anthony Davis gained Defensive Anchor after year 1

Dwayne Wade lost Finisher and Acrobat as he got older.

In my career DWade lost Finisher and got deadeye. Prolly because he mostly was shooting high percentage jumpers with me at point

Very cool that this happens! I wonder, do the sig skills appear based on player tendencies then? That is, if you are using a particular player in a certain way, do the sig skills develop naturally over time?
