Smile Which classic team should I use for Association mode?

As the title says, which classic team should i use in association/ season mode, and why??

E.g. 95-96 bulls?? maybe i could try to repeat (or beat) their season win record, have an mvp season with jordan etc. Maybe Iversons 76ers?? for the challenge

What are your suggestions?

OH YEAH, keep in mind i will only use teams from the 90s onward!

Bottom line is i wanna have fun with it!!

Hmm, 94-95 Magic with Shaq and Penny would be fun. 97-98 Jazz with Karl Malone and Stockton too.

Sleeper that could be fun would be the 95-96 Supersonics with Payton and Kemp. Pick and Roll with them could be very fun.

Jordan isn't fun IMO because I dont lose loll. I would say 94 Magic Or 97 Lakers. I always have fun dominating With Shaq

You can customize the league can't believe you don't know that. I'd say go for either 98 Lakers when Shaq and Kobe were born, 01 Kings, or go for the classic Bulls. Whose going to stop you with MJ also a league where theres only a handfull of good sg's you can dominate with MJ like its spacejam.

Re: Which classic team should I use for Association mode?

I'm running with the '86 Celtics in mine (until there's a way to bring the Dream Team or '93 Suns into an association). I've also substituted classic teams into my association in place of their current day counterparts.

Since you want a team from the 90's, here are my suggestions:

'91 Run TMC Warriors: The title says it all. If you like to bomb away and really focus on offense, this is definitely your team. Mullin and Richmond are lethal shooters with unlimited range. Hardaway is lightning quick probably has the best handle in the game. I love playing with these guys.

'93 Hornets: It would be fun seeing how far you can take the talented team of Grandmama, Zo, Muggsy, etc. They have a great combo of offense and defense. Larry Johnson was a highlight film waiting to happen in these days. Kendall Gill is very underrated as well.

'95 Magic: Shaq & Penny. Inside & outside. The younger, more athletic Shaq is just unstoppable in this game. Explosive dunks, great quickness for his size, and a great rebounder. Throw in a 6'7 PG in Penny Hardaway and this team is downright unfair. They have sharp shooters in guys like Dennis Scott, Nick Anderson and Jeff Turner. Kick it out to them after Shaq or Penny gets double teamed, they're almost automatic.

'96 Bulls: Need I say more?

'96 SuperSonics: Mid 90's swagger. Kemp was one of my favorites growing up. The best dunking big man of all time in my opinion. The Glove can post up smaller PG's, and check PG's, SG's, and SF's on D. Detlef can knock down shots from all over the court. This is just a fun team to play with.

'01 Sixers: I think Iverson is one of the top 3 funnest players to play with in this game. Dude was smack dab in the middle of his prime. He's fast as anything, has amazing handles, and his jump shot is money from 22 feet and in. There's not much offense on this squad, which makes it all the better. If you like dominating with one player, I'd go with A.I. Mutombo in the middle gives you a great defensive presence. Guys like Snow, McKie, Lynch, and Bell will help on defense and give you some solid offense when you look away from A.I.

Hope this helped!

86 Celtics: Big 3 and The Legend is so fun to use to just drain 3s with from the corner.

87 Lakers: If you have Kareem on the team its great just post up and hit skyhooks. Running fast breaks with Magic and Worthy is such a joy now its even better with the Speed system being fixed in 2K13

91 Bulls: My personal favorite of all the bulls teams. MJ right at his physical peak, Scottie the start of his prime. Its just a great team to use.
