Brandon Jennings is definitely a front runner in the MVP race. He is averaging 31.7ppg, 13.3apg, and 3.3spg. He has broken 2 team records in points in a single game(62) and assists in a single gm(29) He is having a career year in new head coach Starks' new system. Monta Ellis averages 25.1ppg.

Noteable additions to the team include:

Stephen Jackson
Norris Cole
Reggie Evans
Michael Redd (FA signing)

Noteable departures include

Larry Sanders
Drew Gooden (amnestied/bought out)
Joel Pryzbilla (waived)
Tobias Harris
Both 1st rounders, and next yrs 2nd rounder

My starting lineup is:

PG-Jennings
SG-Ellis
SF-S.Jackson
PF-E.Ilyasova
C-S.Dalembert

6th-Doron Lamb

Doron Lamb has shot over 50% from 3PT range this season and in limited minutes he has put up some great numbers. As he continues to grow and develop he may become a stud so I decided to give him a big oppritunity to be a big part of Milwaukee's future. The 6th man role has been great for him because he is able to provide solid scoring off the bench. He is averaging just over 7ppg.

Low post scoring is my only concern off the bench. Ersan Ilyasova and Dalembert score well but Udoh and Henson average about 5ppg combined. To be fair, with Jennings and Ellis, the chances to score are not abundent, but they are struggling overall. Both are young and very raw still so I am committed to develop them. I had considered making a trade with Charlotte involving Udoh for Brenden Haywood and a 2nd rounder, but have decided against it. Udoh is an asset and I may be able to either make something out of him myself, or move him for more value elsewhere.

I only have one 2nd round pick in the next 2 yrs so I am obviously not building thru the draft lol. I am scouting the PF/C Len out of Maryland. Great size at 7'1 and is only 19. With one second rounder, I'm looking for a big body with a good upside.

I played the 18-4 Clippers tonight. Dalembert returned to the lineup tonight after being out for 6 gms with a knee injury. Dalembert returned to the starting lineup and played big minutes since coach Starks opted to wait until he was fully recovered to play him. The Bucks surged to a double digit lead after 1 quarter of play but the Clips battled back and took a 6pt lead into halftime. Jennings lead all scorers at halftime with 17pts and 6assists. He was struggling to contain CP3. CP3 was either getting by Jennings and getting an easy shot or getting a step by him and hitting a teammate for an assist. It is realistic but it was hurting us big time lol. Ellis, who was relatively quiet in the first half, exploded in the third quarter when Jennings went to the bench for a breather. He scored 8 out of the Bucks 11 pts while Jennings was out.

The Bucks built up a narrow lead heading into the 4th. Jennings, and Ellis were lighting it up as usual. Stephen Jackson was having a strong game too with 18 points. Ersan had only scored 5 pts to that point, and Doron Lamb was having a cold shooting night. The game went back and fourth for the first part of the quarter with neither team being able to gain much of an edge. Finally, Ersan heated up and nailed back to back threes and that sealed the game for Milwaukee. The Bucks gained enough seperation to work the clock until the Clips were forced to foul and Jennings closed the game on free throws. Jennings netted 31pts, and 14 assists, and a season high 6 steals. Jackson finished with 18pts, and Monta had 29pts. Dalembert had a great return game with 12pts, and 9rebs on 6-8 shooting. Nobody reached double figures off the bench, which is a slight concern but with Jennings and Ellis playing out of their mind lately, it is all good lol

The Bucks improve to 18-4 with that 109-100 victory over LAC. They enter the new week 2nd in the Power ranking, and tied for 1st in the division with the Bulls(19-5). Our next game is against the division rival Pacers, who are 6 gms behind us. We are riding a 7 gm win streak so I'd like to ride this momentum to get as much seperation from our division as possible in case we slump. Our first game against the Pacers was won on a last second jumper from Mbah a Moute when we were down by one. The buzzer sounded and Mbah a Moute's contested 17 footer went in to give us the victory. They will definitely be back for revenge so this game is definitely a "must-win" in my eyes to attempt to establish dominance over them in our division and make this a 2 horse race for the division title between Chicago and us.

We will be playing without Udoh who hyper-extended his leg. He is officially unable to play and will be missed. I inserted Reggie Evans back into the rotation despite him being banged up with a sore knee. With Henson, Mbah a Moute, and Evans backing up Ersan and Dalembert, I am still confident that I can hold my own. Udoh will miss 2-4 weeks.

Let me know what you guys think, and feel free to offer suggestions. Thanks!
Please tell me you didn't trade your first round pickss for Stephen Jackson cmon man

Yea its fun for sure...Derozan ally-oops are nuts from Rondo, and the fast break is nuts. When that dont work Pierce slows it down and gets it done. Im very surprised at TRob since I didn't expect him to be this good already, he was just kind of a young guy to play next to KG and maybe KG could help him develop but hes averaging 15/9 for me and is a beast on the offensive glass.

BTW Love the Bucks updates...But why did you trade Larry "5 blocks" Sanders?

Lol hear me out on this. I traded Tobias Harris and one of the 1st rounders for Jax. I have no need for a 1st round pick. Monta Ellis is going to re-sign with the team, and Jennings is a restricted free agent so I am going to match any offer he gets. I am going to extend everyone across the board with the exception of Daniels. I have youth across the board, and with Jennings and Ellis, I do not need any more scoring, and the rest of the team is solid on defense and rebounding. Jackson came in as a solid 6th man to give my second unit some scoring capability. He now starts because Doron Lamb has proven he has what it takes to be the 6th man.

My roster is as follows

B. Jennings, Norris Cole(3yr deal), Beno Udrith(3yr extention)
M. Ellis, Doron Lamb(4yr deal)
S. Jackson, Dunleavy, Mbah a Moute(3yr deal)
Ersan Ilyasova(3yr deal), J Henson(4yr deal), Reggie Evans(3yr deal)
S. Dalembert(extending), Udoh(2yr deal)

I am going to extend Ellis and Jennings to the max contracts. I will extend Dunleavy and Dalembert for sure, and Jackson if he is cheap enough. Where does a 1st round pick find minutes in this rotation?

No I'm just saying you could of got more bang for your buck with your for picks instead of and old worn out Jackson. You couldnof at least gotten a Harrison Barnes or nick batum Mike beasley some young guys to fill that position instead of a 30yr old idk maybe its just me Cu's I always trade away my draft picks because I like to go with young establish players that I know. Have good potential instead of taking the chance with drafting someone but

You traded your picks for a 30yr old that's worst then she. The nets traded their 1st rd pick that turned out to be Harrison Barnes for 30 sumthn Gerald wallace
just my opinion shoulda went young instead of old

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread

Huge win over the Pacers in Milwaukee. We had to prove that the last second win in Indy was not a fluke. We came, we saw, we conquered in a 125-106 victory. The victory puts us 7 gms up on the Pacers in our division, one win away from clinching the season series against them. That would be huge in trying to establish dominance in this division. We improve to 19-4 on the yr and are currently 0.5gms up on the Bulls for the division lead.

Brandon Jennings had to be huge in this game. I went to him early and often. I managed to set the team record for three pointers made in a single game with him with 11 threes, as Jennings soared to a game high 46 points. Dalembert continued his solid play since returning from a knee injury with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Doron Lamb was back to his 6th man form with 15 points on 5-10 shooting from 3PT range. Monta Ellis had a down game with only 13 pts and 1-6 from deep. Ersan Ilyasova finished below his season average too with only 12 points. Jax was the only other Buck to reach double figures with 11.

I re-worked the Norris Cole-Larry Sanders trade to make it seem like it never happened. I have missed not having Sanders on the team since Sanders is such a beast in real life. Norris Cole was a solid player for me, but I felt like getting Sanders back was the right thing to do. I made the following trade instead.

Bucks trade: Ekpe Udoh
Trail Blazers trade: Nolan Smith, '14 2nd rounder

Nolan gives me youth at the PG spot, and is also only one year into his rookie deal. Sanders will easily handle the back up center duties behind Dalembert and Henson, Reggie, and Ilyasova can battle for PT at PF. I like this trade and really like having Larry Sanders back. Thank you for all of the feedback and suggestions, because I would not have re-considered getting Larry Sanders back without it!

Larry Sanders finished with 8pts on 4-7 shooting, with 2 rebs and 2 blocks. He is a solid young prospect. Michael Redd knocked down a couple of long balls to get 6pts on the night. Redd has averaged 6.8ppg in just over 5mins per game. He has been a solid addition.

Nolan Smith had a rough debut in Milwaukee. He finished with 0 pts, on 0-2 shooting. He did have 3 assists in his 8 mins of PT so it was not a terrible performance, but I would like to see some more points. Henson was also held scoreless but he managed to snag 4 rebs in his 11 mins on the court.

The next game is against Memphis. The Grizzlies have been having a tough year at 10-12 so I am favored to win it. The following game will be a show down with the Celtics for the last time this season. The Bucks lead the season series 2-1 but the C's won the last game easily. Winning this game will clinch the season series for us which may be big down the road in a tie-breaker to determine playoff positioning. It will be in Boston so we'll have to play our best. We've already won their once this season, so I'm hoping to repeat.

As always, feel free to leave me some feedback, I love suggestions. Thanks!

You have to look at my situation. I needed a 6th man that could score to spark my 2nd unit. I had to build my package around Tobias Harris because I cannot play well with him. He is young and talented, but just was not a fit in my system. I had to look at teams that needed youth. The Spurs are trying to get younger, and I shipped them Harris and a 1st rounder that will help them rebuild after Timmy retires. I am not sure what else was out there that fits my needs, that could be had for Tobias Harris and a 1st.

The Warriors would never part with Harrison Barnes. He is a #7 overall pick, in my association, I am on a roll and every indication is that I will finish in the top 4 or 5 in the East, sort of like the Pacers did in real life last yr. I've built my team using that model. The Warriors would seriously downgrade at SF with Harris, and would get a really low draft pick as well. Not going to happen.

Beasley and Batum do not appeal to me in the least. I am looking to re-sign my whole roster. Jennings will get extended for max or near max, because he is worth it anyway, and he is also a front runner for MVP the way he is playing this year. Monta Ellis will re-sign with me, and he will require a lot of money as well. I definitely want to re-sign Dalembert who has been an absolute beast thus far, and Mike Dunleavy too. Both will re-sign for cheap which is GREAT for me, because I can throw the big bucks to Monta and Jennings while keeping the solid role players too. I really want to keep Jax too because Jax is solid, and I loved him in Charlotte( Im a Bobcats fan lol ) but I will let him walk if he wants too much.

Once I re-sign Jennings, Ellis, Dalembert, and Dunleavy I'll have all of these guys under contract:

Jennings
Nolan Smith
Beno Udrith
Monta Ellis
Doron Lamb
Mike Dunleavy
Mbah a Moute
Ersan Ilyasova
Jon Henson
Reggie Evans
Samuel Dalembert
Larry Sanders

Hopefully Jax won't want too much so he can step back into the starting line-up. I want to develop Doron Lamb into a JR Smith type player so I'll need either Jax, Dunleavy, or Mbah a Moute to start. All are great because they can play well without the ball. With Monta and Jennings, the better you play without the ball the better you fit in lol

I definitely do not need someone who is making a lot of money until I can re-sign all of my guys in the off-season. I love this team and Jennings and Monta are the future of this team. Therefore, shipping the 1st rounder and Tobias to SAS was worth it, and I'd do it again today if given the chance.

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread

having one of the closes games i ever had right now on HOF with the bulls going against the BOBCATS i think its cus im using some new sliders that i made and plan to put up later. the score is 117-117 with 17secs left i have the ball near my basket idk what to do because with these new sliders i have its really hard to shoot jump shots but i can take it to the hole easy but with 12secs left i dont want to take a chance of going to the basket cus the defense in the paint has been great idk what to do will update when done

forgot to mention i only had 13secs left on shot clock. so i inbound the ball to d rose they quickly double team him because he already has 31pts. i pass it to anthony davis try to drive to the hoop but he is a marked man and they cover him quickly but all behold guess who has a open lane and is driving to the basket d rose with a easy dunk for 2 with 8 secs left on the game clock. Now we gotta play some good defense which is really gonna be hard because with my sliders i lowered our defense alot.

so the score is 119-118 bulls up, Bobcats inbound the ball to who else but kemba walker he drives to the basket with 7secs left d rose is all over him but he slides inside past d rose finna get a easy layup but No No No cus Noah and Eyebrows come flying in and block his shot and im instantly thinking we have won the game with only 3 secs left the ball hits the ground Brendan Haywood lifts it off the floor with 2 secs left he passes it out of the post to a wide open Ben Gordon for a easy midrange shot with 1.3 left on the clock he hoists up the buzzer beater to send this baby to OT.

now its up to rose paul george deng eyebrows and noah to finish off these lowly bobcats who are playing real hard today

this game ended up going to doulbe overtime bulls won by a ridiculous number like 158 to 150 i think lol. but it was fun and competive i still gotta work on my sliders so i can get them to a point where we dont score so much but it was fun if it would of ended in regulation the score would have been 117-119 so thats ok still needs to be a little bit lower though

Re: Official NBA2K13 Association Thread

so let me tell you guys about my Bulls Association i play on HOF 12 mins still trying to tweak my sliders till i get them perfect.

My team roster looks like with ( avgs)

pg: D rose(24.5ppg 5.2rpg 10.7apg 1.4spg)/K.Hinrich/M.Teague

sg: Paul George (16.5ppg 6.6rpg 3.3apg 1.2spg)/T.Sefolosha

sf: L.Deng ( 17.4ppg 7.5rpg 2.3apg 1.0spg)/ Jimmy Butler

pf: Anthony Davis aka Fear the Brow ( 17.4ppg 10.2rpg 1.5bpg)/Taj Gibson

c: Joakim Noah ( 14ppg 11rpg 3apg 1.3spg 2bpg)/ Meyers Leonard/ Hasheem Thabeet

all the trades i made were through trade finder or i made myself. i only forced one trade it was for eyebrows ( feel a lil bad but who cares)

right now my team is setup to be a young dynasty all my starters are very capable offensively and defensively. I like young guys which is why my team is so young. Which gives us the ability to be contenders for a long time. with our oldest starters being 27 and the rest being 24 and under. Hinrich is our oldest guy at 32 and i been thinking about trading him but me being from chicago and a everything chicago fan am too in love with hinrich to part ways with him.

We have great offensive players in rose george and deng

all of our big men are great when it comes to rebounds

Defensively we have Thabo sefolosha, loul deng, jimmy butler, anthony davis, Noah, taj gibson, kirk hinrich, and paul george who defensively can stop anyone at their position.

we have great sze at every position because i hate small guys at sg like monta ellis and eric gordon ( even though there great players i just like length except at pg its ok to be small other that at every other position i like size.) or small Centers like chuck hayes. We have huge 7 footers in Leonard and Thabeet.

I feel like i replaced the old chicago bench mob very well meyers leonard isnt as good as omer asik defensively but offensively he is a mos def upgrade and has the potiential defensively just because of his height.

Hinrich/Teague is better than Watson/Lucas in every aspect

Sefolosha is just as good as ronni brewer defensively and can shoot 3's ( even though i suck shooting with him wish i could trade him but because i have no draft picks i wont get good value for him so im stuck with him.) but he isnt as good as kyle korver from deep but its ok.

Jimmy butler is a young sf who is good defensively but has a lot of growing to do offensively
