Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread

I had one hell of a crazy game against Denver.

My team, Blazers, were up by 4-8 points but at one time shots weren't going in on both sides. People were rebounding, missing, blocked, fast break to the other side and vice versa.

I had to take a time out because I couldn't keep up and I was tired. I won the game 118-106.

It was a key game btw, does that amp the other team up? Because I haven't experienced this before in other key games.

Re: Official NBA 2K13 MyCareer thread

Almost halfway through my second year as an athletic PG. Got drafted 10th overall by the Hornets, which I was fine with being from Kentucky (UK fan). I played most of the first season on All-Star/5 min quarters, except for Key Games which I usually bump up to 12 min just to reap VC. I simmed roughly 30 games, set to 12 min of course. Won ROY averaging 23.2 ppg, 7.9 apg, and 3.8 rpg. I ended up with making the playoffs and decided to heck with realism, try to win the championship. With a sweep of the Heat (haha) we pulled off the unthinkable. So I start my 2nd year by looking at the roster to see what changes were made. Much to my surprise, sitting atop the roster at a 94 rating, Dwight Howard. About halfway to the All-Star Game and I get pulled into the GM's office asking my opinion on who I would like to trade for. Being the UK homer that I am, I selected Kidd-Gilchrist along with a couple of lower 70's sf's, just hoping I could score MKG. Low and behold, he came through a few games ago being traded for Aminu (who was horrible for me) and Nate Robinson, who we also had acquired somehow.

PG - My Player
SG - Eric Gordon
SF - MKG
PF - Ant Davis
C - Dwight Howard

My player is currently averaging 28.9 ppg, 12.3 apg, 4.5 rpg, and 2.7 spg
40 games in, almost half of which have been simmed. Time to bump of the difficulty!

Hoping to reshape my blazers team as well; they already traded for a guy i asked for and I'm thinking of going and asking for more.

Should I start with Superstar difficulty or do you think I will break my TV?
Anyone?

Superstar I have found to be the only difficulty that has manageable cheese. One level to low is really easy and HOF is just a non stop cheese fest. I play on HOF now but I waited until I got to 85 overall.

Do you think I should start with Superstar or should I start with Pro (like I play now) and wait until I get better? Because I play on PC and I don't have VC to spend. In PC its so much difficult to get better. You rely only on SP.
