Are NBA 2K11 servers down as of 31 July, as announced last week, can somebody confirm this? (I borrowed my copy of the game, can't check at the moment). Will this mean better performance by servers for NBA 2K12?

Yes and no, at least not that I've noticed. The servers were actually shut down this time, but I haven't noticed any increased performance on 2K12. Maybe less downtime, but only time will tell if that is true.

Thanks for info, much appreciated. I tried NBA 2k12 online last 2-3 days and it seems no changes whatsoever. Games disconnect in 40-50% of times with message No other players left in the game, and randomly gives a win. SMH
