My Player shooting is impossible

I dont get it at all. I thought it was a release issue but in shoot around i hit everything from outside, i had ONE game where i broke double digits in points, I play a 3pt specialist PG so my 3pt rating is at 82 and my Medium Shot is at 80, tried to adjust and work for points and go for the layups (rated 70) nothing happens. its on pro so you'd figure the ball would drop almost every time but it doesnt. I cant get any skill points to spend because the My Player in game goals are useless to me because i cant sink a basket anyways.

Any ideas?

Work the ball around and get open shoots. If your cold from the field then try getting a few mid range jumpers. Seems to get me back on track. I play 8 min quarters and average 20 ppg. I shoot around 45%.

Some nights I get hot and score 30 plus pts. (44 is my high) other nights I only get 10.

If you look at the shot quality feedback you'll see the problem. Jump shots from close and mid range seem to be effected far more by a player being near you than they should be.

A shot that looks easy and under little pressure may well be a d- just because a defender is not that far away from you. They don't have to be making much of an effort to block at all.

Me to I have no problems.Some nights I'm cold some nights I'm hot.Just like real NBA players.

He also is probably taking off balance shots and not set when he is getting ready to shot.You can just chuck the ball up and be off balance like NBA live and expect it to go in everytime.

yeap that sums it up. anytime a defender moves toward you without jumping it's considered contesting and it will more likely make you miss

seriously? you mean like how people who can rarely shoot already but make shots consistently. all the cpu has to do is pump fake one time and shoot they will make the shot a majority of the time.
