Will 2K13 Be Better Than 2K12??

I want to get 2k12 mainly because:
The amount of legends
New My Player Endorsements e.g. Billboards etc. (Stuff they didn't have in 2k11)
Classic Teams
Rookies
My Player customization e.g Adidas shooting sleeves, nba logo on headband can be changed
Better MyPlayer faces and graphics
Better Presentation
Loads of people I know have it
Its the newest one out
More people are playing so better online

But if 2k13:
Has the same amazing presentation and more realistic My Player faces and customization plus the crazy amount of legends AND crew and mp pickup games that would be SICK (btw i have 2k11... I cant rent 2k12 from any shops because theres only one game shop that sell 2k12 and thats a second-hand game shop...I'd have to order it online because I live in the UK

i think it will be a 2k11 upgrade with some 2k12 offensive moves and better graphics. hopefully more physical play on D will be introduced again

2k13 HAS to be better.

2K knows that 2K12 took a big hit because of the lockout, so they have to rebound and make 2K13 even better

2k13 will be better because it will be the year that Live/Lite come back and 2k is not going to sit back and let them get all the attention, they will have something big in stored.

2k12 went backwards in a lot of areas. If they didn't "improve" (sarcastic finger quotes) on many aspects from 2K11, 2K12 would've been a much better game.

I was thinking about this the other day. I have to think 2K13 will most definitely be better than 2K12. That's not to say 2K12 was horrible. I'm still playing the heck out of it. And the classic roster additions were absolutely sublime. However, there were some new additions and unfinished pieces of work I found to be very inconsistent with how 2K has operated over the course of their "next-gen" reign.

For instance, I'm quite anxious for 2K to rid of their new sliding, magic recovering defense. It was step in a weird direction in terms of man-ball defense in 2K12. I can't wait to be able to move my opponent's balance in one direction and then subsequently capitalize in a logical manner by going in the other direction (as opposed to that dreaded magic recovery).

Further, it seems a lot 2K's non-gameplay additions went borderline haywire. The YouTube uploads, pressbooks, online associations, and graphical player updates all sounded incredible. Alas, I'm not sure any of those aspects of 2K12 are fully 100% functional as originally intended. This in conjunction with the freezing issues and the super questionable decision to disallow legend trading (and henceforth roster creating) for a significant portion of the game's cycle left a real funky taste.
