Player Potential?

I drafted both Andre Drummond and Jared Sullinger in my Association. I noticed however, they both had potentials of C+, which did not sit well with me. I decided to go boost it up, but I found that a 99 potential rating only yields a B+ or B grade. Is there any fix to this? I was hoping I could get Sullinger to atleast an A or A-

Re: Player Potential?

I'd say both guys would realistically have between an 80 and 85 pot. Thats what they have in My Draft class. Harrison Barnes goes first overall and his pot. is 85

Re: Player Potential?

Its your scout. Your NBA Scout's rating will change how accurate the potential letter grades are. Also, don't give them 99 potential, it'll make them too good. I think 75-85 is a good potential rating for them.

Re: Player Potential?

Agreed, plus in the offseason you can boost their POT with a drill anyway.

Re: Player Potential?

quick question

if a player has 90 potential does that mean they will progress to becoming a 90 ovr player? or is the potential rating just something thats apart of the calculation to how much a player progresses in the offseason?

Re: Player Potential?

Potential has to do with their approximate OVR in their prime via general progressions, and also has to do with how drastically they decline after age 30.

Re: Player Potential?

Why do you think Jared Sullinger deserves an A in potential? He would be lucky to ever start for an NBA Team.

Based on an accurate scale, I would give him a 65 potential. If that.

I thought Jared Sullinger was suppose to be high in the draft 65 potential is too low I would give it like someone said a 75-85 I don't like having potentials too high but if you lower them too much players don't develop and they retire to early making the NBA less talented.
