He looked like a 40 overall last night vs the Pacers IMO. AJ Price is 51 overall and he runs the Pacers offense very very well. It all relates to the diversity 2k shows between the elites and scrubs, and it also relates to his position and strengths.

Mullens has definitely improved this year on the offensive end - and yeah, he will work his way into the starting lineup soon. His PER is 22.0 this year - highest on the Bobcats out of anyone. (Although it's not like he's up against much).

He definitely deserves higher than a 40 - at least a 60 at this point.

He's not a solid defensive player or rebounder, and has a finesse game instead of a strong post game...but the man is not 40 ovl.

"Charlotte Bobcats head coach Paul Silas is contemplating making changes to the starting lineup and one of the moves might include having Byron Mullens as the first-team center.

Mullens is averaging 11.6 points as a Bobcat and Friday he scored 17 points and grabbed five rebounds.

Boris Diaw has been the starting center and he'll probably move to power forward, if Mullens gets the promotion.

imo if he keeps it up there is no reason why his name shouldn't be thrown into the Most improved player, im not saying that he'll win, cause there are much better options, but he should atleast get some recognition

I don't know about all that, but he is showing some signs of improvement...the season is still young though. Let's see how long he can sustain his performance throughout the season.

It's funny to see this thread pop up... Last week during a post game interview, they mentioned how well he was playing and he said something like "Maybe my 2k rating will finally go up now".

To be fair though, who knew Mullens would play as well as he's playing? I think a ratings boost is in order, and I'd think he'd be one of the first to get one.

But if you want to make sure it gets boosted, maybe try tweeting LD2K or Ronnie2K?
