Major Problem with 2K12 on the PS3 !!!

I am having a major problem i am trying to play the Association mode on NBA 2K12 on the PS3 i can play some games in my season all the way through but for some reason some of the games freeze up at halftime during the halftime highlights and refuse to go past that. Is this a problem for anyone else ? I have tried to restart the system and play again and it still freezes,I have tried to save the game before halftime and start it back up again and i have the same problem.

Is anyone else going through this ?

It was mentioned in the early days of release...I think you need to delete your settings etc before loading the game itself.

Try that and see if it cures it. Hopefully you don't need to re-start your assoc.
