This probably 2k's worst year in player ratings. I know you guys are going to say stop bitchin about the ratings; overall means nothing but it really does. Overall ratings means who is the better player overall. So you're telling me that Andre Iguodola is better than Joe Johnson. You're telling me that if you switched Pau Gasol and Dirk, the Mavericks would still win a championship. You're telling me that that pooh jeter has a better mid-range game than Kobe. You gotta be kidding!

2k said overall means pretty much nothing and ratings make the user play the players realistically. Most likely users are gonna constantly jack up shots with Kobe like rl Kobe does. If his mid range is too high, Kobe would drop 81 again, no prob.

I have faith that 2K has a rhyme and reason for the things they do, I really don't think they had people or don't know anything about basketball do the ratings.

Everybody bring up Dirk when talking about the ratings system Dirk is a shooter.. that's all he do he's not a defensive juggernaut nor is he a great rebounder compared to other players in his position.

Ratings has a big thing to do with position so since he can't rebound or play D his rating as a PF is going to be overall low compared to other true PF.

I'd think he's a hawks fan... just sayin. And I agree with him though, Kobe's midrange is to low for my likes. But I love Holidays rating

Overall means nothing at all. Frye rated 64 just dropped 30 on me(ashamed) and played exactly like he plays in real life.

Kobe's mid ranger could possibly go up but some of these people want him to shoot like Dirk does and he just simply is not THAT good.

A Hawks fan, I didn't think they existed
