The homescreen menu is the same but they tweaked the team selection menu visually. Can't really describe it because I don't totally remember it but it did look a little different. Czar, please correct me if any of the info you see is wrong. I'm trying to remember this and I don't want to give the community incorrect info. Thanks.

Really appreciate you doing this JR.

here's my question: how was the A.I. when you played them, did it feel like you were really playing that team, like were the Bulls playing like the Bulls ?

- Do you know what difficulty level and sliders were at use ?
- Did you played against poor defensive teams and if so, was there any difference in how their rotation or defensive schemes or AI were, compared to good defensive teams ?

P.S:
Thanks to both, Pared & DaCzar ! ... and obviously to you too jr !

so wait, hop step and spin dribbling moves have been moved to the shot stick? or are you just talking about the hop step and spin moves they had in there last yr on the RS that you COULD do with Y and B you HAVE to do with the RS now?

another question... i was under the impression that Y was used for turning your back/facing up and you would push the LS towards the basket to back down, is that not right?

You got it.. all quality information your putting out man. We all appreciate it.

Some of this stuff is tuff because depending on the build and where you saw the game we may not have seen the same screens LOL there is a new splash screen that allows you to get to different area's of the game. But the older menus, if you use them, are the same.

LOL just wait for the insight or if another site talks more about the control then I can tell you more. Otherwise the insight will make it all make sense for you. Just know you have more distinct control than you had last year. It is a much better system.

you press Y anytime anywhere to turn your back and your then move into the defender with the LS as you said. The postup is independent of the defense.

They did feel authentic. When I played against the Shaq and Penny Magic, they would force feed Shaq. One time Penny passed it to Shaq so i hedged down to help with Derek Harper. When I got too close to Shaq he passed it back to Penny, who I tried to get back to defend. Penny seemed like he waited for me to close out then drove right to the baseline for a onehanded dunk.

Another time they passed it to Shaq and i doubled off Nick Anderson. Shaq picked up the double and kicked it out to Anderson for the three. This was my first game on 2k12 and i was down 13-4. I asked what level this was in and they told me pro. I was so embarrassed.

When I played against Showtime they gave me a healthy dose of Magic and Kareem. Magic backed down some and had his patented floaters in the late.

The game knows where it wants to attack and will punish you for your choices. Like I said before, the Showtime perimeter players were backing down against Monta and Steph because they had the size mismatch.

D-Rose was aggressive in that fastbrakes i described before. Rob said last year the Ai would see if it had a numbers advantage on breaks and would attack only in those instances. This year, the Ai will attack if its player has the talent mismatch on the break. I saw that happen twice. It was awesome. Man I want to play some more. Sorry for that last line, but the game is really polished this year and will keep you guessing.
