because I want to create teams and still use official rosters for simplicity, but at this moment new roster updates always override the file with created teams plus I want injured players in my created teams.

so does final rosters come out at start of playoff or end of playoff? i forgot how they did it in 2k10. thanks.

Not 100% positive but i think the next update will be the final 1. My guess is they will update at the end of the week after all games are played. i'm waiting on this as well to be done as I had quit playing for a while but plan on editing they last roster update and starting a franchise. Some things i have found during editing and testing that help improve the game so I can enjoy it has me aanxious to get the last update. Hoping they get othyus jeffers on the last update that is why i am waiting.

2k seems to be having technical issues, and have not updated the roster in 10 days, hopefully it is fixed and my Saturday we have the most up to date rosters.

now that i think about it... final rosters coming out this weekend would be nice, but how would they handle guys like David West who's injured at the moment (while team is in the playoffs). from what i remember, in the final update all players went back to their pre-injury ratings, which means he has to be back to his normal rating of 76 or so but right now he's in the 50s due to injury. therefore, FINAL rosters coming out this weekend is unlikely imo...

unless roster update and rotation/ratings update are two different things that i'm not understanding.

I thought they didn't release the final one until around the Finals but I guess I'm wrong.

Someone please post a definitive answer on this because I'd like to know as well.

Well there really cant be a definite answer since no one knows that there going to do this year but last year the final update was done around the finals

There are so many better rosters out there than the official rosters.
