How to play defense on superstar?

I've been playing on allstar for a while and I decided to pick the difficulty up after pretty much winning every game or losing by little. So I went to superstar, against the spurs (I'm the rockets by the way) and they shot 80% in the first half! I ended up losing by 26. So my question is, what should I do on defense? Any tips would help please.

superstar is very tough, i don't like putting advantage on any side neither cpu or user at sliders, but superstar is just really really hard, i played against hawks and joe johnson killecd me bad i can't stop him he scored everywhere every shot

Re: How to play defense on superstar?

How you play defense will vary playing against different teams so there's really no one strategy that will work for every team. You have to pay attention to what's going on the court. For instance if you are playing an offensive opponent tight on defense and the cpu is setting screens for than player and you keep getting caught at the screen, your either gonna sag off that player to get through the screen or bump up the help defense slider so your teammate will help guard that player. Little things like that can make a difference on defense. And don't be afraid to stop the game and go to coach settings to change your defensive settings if you are not doing that already.
