Is it possible to edit default skill attributes and physical appearance for default players?

If so, which PS3 file is affected by the edit? I notice Living Roster Data and Roster Data get updated automatically. Is it once of these files? Will I loose edited players due to the updates?

Roster data is the one that holds your changes. and yeah, they'll be overwritten once the new updates come out (unless you give it a different name than just "roster")

^That. Rename your roster to something else rather than "roster" to keep your player edits.
