Hello, this is my first time playing an NBA 2K and I must say, I'm floored by how good this game is. My only problem is, I suck at it, especially offense (even on Pro level). This whole ISO controls are pretty difficult. Any tips would be helpful.

Hit the prctice gym..or to learn without realizing and have fun same time.....go on down to my player mode thell teach u everything u need to know soon youll be addicted n youll be pro without wanting to leave my player mode

2k11 is a whole new monster, previous 2k's have not been like this one, seasoned vets like my self struggle on offense, I have yet to win a game im 0-10 against the cpu playing on all-pro, I may need to step it down to pro skill level.

The only game I won was when I ran with the Heat, Lebron almost had a triple double and could not be guarded at the point. I tried running with the Bulls and had a REALLY hard time.

You need to get good at places AND freelancing I think. So you know when to just call for a quick pick, screen post, or run the offense.

Sometimes the plays still take to long in my mind though.

You have to call play in offens much more then in 2k10. You need time to used to it, then is game even more better (if is possible)

I'm a vet and cant score.

Running plays doesnt work. My guys jog through the plays. So they come off a screen, but they wont be open.

Its nearly impossible to take somebody off the dribble. I had a mismatch today with Will Bynum of Nazr Mohammed from Charlotte, I iso'd him and couldn't get passed him. Totally unrealistic.

Plays hardly work and you cant break people down at all, thats the two ways to get points.

I've been playing 2k since 2k6, and You're not the only one struggling. I'm 0-7 so far running with the Celtics. Last year, I would play on variated all star sliders (slightly harder), average about 105 - 110 points per game on 12 minutes, and win 3/4 of my games. So far, I'm averaging about 65-75 points per game on pro with custom sliders (slightly easier than simulation) on 12 minutes, and have yet to win a game.
