Magic Johnson CAREER at MSU: 17.1 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.9 assists. Not ONE year.

Penny Hardaway CAREER at Memphis State: 20 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.9 assists.

You're talking about ALL-TIME greats? REALLY?

Oh and if you think that KD is only 6'9...you should actually meet him. They even mentioned that he was almost 7 feet during the world championships.

They meaning his teammates and the commentators...

I'm Sorry but LeBron and Wade are NOT on the same level as Kobe. AT ALL!

Amare's an 86 and Gasol's an 89. None of the 3 defend or block shots well.

Oh and sorry...NBA doesn't have a stat/career category for strength...
Yes DropSeven,

You can't just look at career numbers. The past season will be considered much more than career. Also, 8.5 is not high as I mentioned before.

Certain qualities weigh a little more heavily when the game calculates overall rating. The categories I named are the main categories for power forward players. Dirk Nowitski's skill are not reflective of his overall rating, but he can shoot the hell out of the ball. If he cannot shoot in 2K then I will complains.

Strength is not a stat you are correct but we know that Dirk is lacking in that department. Not a "power" forward

Rondo is different because he is still an up and coming talent, so looking at his success in the playoffs is a little more acceptable and necessary.
I think for those two guys, if one had a phenomenal playoff, it might give that guy the edge over the other. Neither has had a tremendous playoff run in a while though.

Ratings are just that - ratings. Until we actually play the finished product Oct. 5th, no one can really say for sure how these will play out. The demo is on Pro or whatever, So sliders etc may be the culprit at some things, but overall I think the ratings are fine since it looks like 2K made an effort to allow the real superstar players stand out from the other players. That's all... besides, by the 3rd day of release, someone on here will have an entire roster share available with "Ratings edits" that we can all download to our hearts content -
