WOW, other than the minor gripes--no co-op, only play lakers, etc...you can see so many instant improvements, no play calling, but you can see plays being ran, broken, re-ran. spacing is awesome, movement,....sick, sick, sick, on 7th play now.

Positives: Definitely moves smoother than 2k10. Graphics look better, players seem to be built more accurately (size wise), and the player textures are nice. Controls are more accurate. It's easier to go where you want with your dribbling. Collision detection is much better, blocking and rebounding also seem pretty good at this point. A lot of the new dunk and layup animations look great. Turbo cheesing isn't as effective. Turbo works much more like how it should, get your man leaning one way and explode quickly the other way, running around like a moron doesn't cut it.

Negative: Too many easy passes tipped/stolen. I think they may have overdone this a bit.

Once most of your players are past half court tap LB/L1 and then quickly follow that up by pressing the icon of the player you want to run the play for. For example, Kobe Bryant would be B or O. So initially, tap LB/L1 and then quickly tap B/O. A red circle will be under the player of choice, Kobe in this case. You will now need to press another face button (A,B,X,Y/X,O,Triangle,Square) to initiate a play. If done correctly, play art will show up on the court.

It'll take a few times to be able to perform it constantly, and i'm sure that in the released version of 2k11 it will be much easier to do judging by Da Czar's videos. If you have any questions, just ask them in here.
Thanks for the tip man, works well when the player doesn't pick up the ball.

CPU teammate Pay Gasol with a chase down block against Paul Pierce.

These deflections are great to see. The more I play, the more I see. crazy

Seeing Pierces mid range and 3 point set shot puts a smile on my face. Just sick.

You need to make good passes. I don't think its overdone at all. Balls don't fly through hands, and if a defender is within reach of a ball he will reach for it. This is a good thing. If you slow down the offense and wait for openings/create openings for passes, you may find that the balance is quite solid. This game, even on pro, forces good decision making. That can't be bad for a sim player.

After playing the demo, I was really about to cancel my pre-order until I saw this:

If this is your issue, you might want to cancel your preorder. Every game is going to have some exploits when dealing with user vs user. That's just common sense. If you don't think people will find a way to "cheese" with the game then you are kidding yourself.
