New guy

I finally made the move to 2k and all I can say that I Love This Game. I wish it didn't take me so long to finally come over. I just have a quick question though. Do players on your team get hurt in franchise mode. I'm like 25 games into my season and noone has been hurt(from my team) Sometimes at the start of a game announcer says a guy is hurt but he's not(I guess thats just a glitch). Thanks for the info

Re: New guy

Yeah they do. Even when you simulate the games.

You also might want to take a look at how to avoid some of the major glitches in the offseason (if you haven't already). There are some pretty bad glitches which can just kill your association mode..just a heads up.

Re: New guy

Unfortunately you'll see very few "in-game" injuries in 2K10. Even with the injury sliders cranked to the max injures are rare and mostly consist of bruised tailbones and twisted ankles. Minor injuries that players can easily play through. You will see more severe ones when games are simulated. I had asked for this to be fixed in the patches but was ignored. It really takes away from the challenge of running an Association if your players can't be injured and you can use your starting 5 the entire season. I play almost all of my games and if I do sim one I hope for an injury so that other players can step up. But it almost never happens. Bring back frequent "in game" injuries 2K where players are "out" for weeks with severely sprained ankles, wrists and knees which should be some of the most common injuries in the NBA. Heck, I even would like to see the separated shoulders back in the game!

Re: New guy

injuries in 2k10 are non existant. they had them in 2k9 but shoulder injuries were a given every game if someone dived for the ball

Re: New guy

I've seen maybe two or three injuries during in game play. this is while playing the majority of the games through 5 seasons. I've seen a lot of injuries in simulation however.
