So I eluded to this in another thread, that I had the glitch that introductions are skipped in my Association Year 2 and now in Year 3, I can't play the games.

I can get to the menus, do anything there. Then I go into the "choose teams" screen prior to the start of play. It loads everything from the intro to the screen to adjust lineups, then goes to black as if it is about to take me to the arena, but nothing happens.

This didn't happen immediately, but it happened after playing about 10 games, and it's November 15th (?) on the calendar. I've been simming some games and trying to play the next, but the result is the same. I have to restart (I'm on PS3 and still have access to the in-game XMB), but no data is corrupted or anything. I can still load and be at the same point that it last saved, which is whatever day I'm on.

I have deleted and re-installed the GameData, but I haven't tampered with the save file at all. I also cleaned the disc. Any suggestions?

reading this stuff really terrifies me. i've spent a ton of time in my franchise and would hate to lose it all because of one of these many freaking bugs.

A lot of the glitches have been toned down or removed through the patches, but this one remains. I haven't heard anyone else mention it, though, so I may be the unfortunate 1 in 100. I wouldn't take it as a deterrent quite yet.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Yeah. I can't play games in yr2. I don't even have game to play. The calender is blank the whole season.

With a bump, I have the same glitch. Year 4, but now I can't play anything after a few games.

Disappointing.

Seems uncommon but devastating when it hits. Time to start making extra copies of my franchise just incase.

Same thing happen to me in three different associations. I have totally given up on association and just sticking to myplayer.

It happened to me too. I think it was season 3 as well. I had to start completely over from scratch. I learned from that experience to keep 4 backup files with different saves at different parts of the season.
