Need help picking a team for an Association

I'm still a newbie here but from I see and read everyday, I see I could trust the opinions and thoughts about sports and games. I'm looking to start an Association in 2K10 but need a team to get it going. I'm normally a Knicks fan but I want a team that may not be not great but also has some kind of an upside, maybe even win a championship. What do you guys think?

I'll take all input and come up with a decision.

The kings have an upside. They have young talent, such as tyreke evans, jason thompson, maybe even spencer hawes (but i dont believ ein hawes).

All the kings really need is a decent 2 and 3. and a few back up guards. But thats easy as raja bell is a free agent, steph marbury is also a free agent, mike james, brevin knight etc.

King is nice because they have the cap room and expiring contracts. They have 7 or 8 big men if i remember right, and half the team is on contract years.

So in the off season u may be able to sign 2 max free agents.

Boozer would be a good mix with the kings, maybe even if lb decides to opt out. Theres a lot of possibilities with the kings.

Thunder is a good choice. They have a young, exciting, talented team. If
you dont like them then golden state would be my second choice. Curry
is emerging and ellis one of the better scorers in the league.

Thunder or the Warriors are the most fun for me. Curry and Ellis are great together in this game and the entire Thunder team are exciting, not to mention the potential for all of them. After 2-3 years it ends up being a great team.

I also run with the Warriors, as they are the most fun team in the game IMO.

-Curry hits everything.
-Ellis, well, is Ellis.
-Azubuike can get hot.
-Randolph is a monster, does it all. Score, rebound, block (I had 8 with him one game).
-Biedrins gets rebounds and is a monster on pick-n-rolls.
-Maggette makes everything inside or gets fouled.
-Morrow has an easy release with a very high 3PT ratings.
-Watson can score in bunches.
-Radmanovic is deadly from 3.
-Turiaf provides depth down low.
-Wright is solid.
-I don't really use George, Hunter, Tolliver, or Williams; but you may find them good too.

What I do is run, shoot the 3, play the 1-3-1 on D while usering Randolph. Good team.

Need help with this as well. I want to pick a team that realistically will build through the draft.

Any ideas? I was originally playing as the Raps but it gets really boring after a year.

Maybe washington? trade your few players for a no. one pick. assuming you
chose john wall then arenas can be traded for some decent players. That
should give u a solid team.
