I have only seen this 3 times, in a very spread amount of games, black screen after 3rd quarter. It won't show the highlights just a black screen. Its irritating me because its always the good games it appears on

Quick facts: It appeared after 2nd patch. It happens in Assocation.

Have you tried deleting your settings though. Make sure you delete your settings and then reset your console.

i was getting that after the 1st quarter sometimes. i would usually look at stats after the 1st quarter buzzer sounded. i've since stopped looking at the stats right after, and i haven't had the black screen. not sure if they are related or not, but so far it's been good.

Maybe its because I look at stats and replays after the quarter ends... its weird for that to happen though, never seen it in past games

i've had it happen to me a couple times at random times after a quarter (on ps3. never happened on xbox, minus the occasional microsoft freeze)

This happened to me on PS3 yesterday. I just started my first association and played my opening game. I was making a huge comeback and after pausing the game to look at a replay about a minute and a half before the final buzzer the screen went black while it still had a NBA 2K10 logo at the right top corner. Commentator sounded like they were showing one of those player-specific action replays. As the text ended the screen was still black and I couldn't do anything, besides access the XMB through the PS button.

I did all that delete settings stuff before installing the 2nd patch, do you think that doing it again would really help?

Played only MyPlayer before, it never happen then, so I guess it has something to do with the association mode. My best guess right now is that don't pause the game exactly before a instant replay.
