My player mode is all about luck

i live in the uk so first of all we did not get the draft combine so i was pissed as hell. so i had to play the had way and go through the training camp with the new orlean hornets. i got screwed badly here and was cut after the final game after averaging a A+ my sg had a better rating than bobby brown.

So i was shipped to the d-league and i played garbage for the first few games then i concentrated then worked hard. after 19 games i was picked up by the mavericks. this was very lucky and put me in a great position because they were a better team as they had traded away jason terry for marcus camby so my competition for shooting guard was Quentin ross (Garbage).

after two games i'm starting and i drive the team to the best record in the league averaging 33pts and 8 assists a game. team chemistry is 87% about to start the playoffs.

anyone else get lucky like this?

WTF are you talking about... I live in the UK and I got Draft Combine from the UK marketplace on 360. It has also been available in the PS store for quite a while as well.

The mode is essentially designed to make you the starter once you get into the NBA. Sure the dev's could have made you ride the pine for awhile and make you earn points really slow and blow through a season or two in a few hours but when the end result is your player starting I dont logically see what the point would be.

I am sure they will make some adjustments to the mode in 2k11 and make it a little harder to become the starter but I dont see them making it as realistic as it really is since you would spend more time watching / simming then playing.
