2k Needs to Establish the difference between older and younger players

Kobe's rating in this game is 97. True enough, he is a top 3 player in the league. However, because of his high rating, there is nothing to discourage the user from attacking with Kobe every chance they get. Kobe is 31 now. There's a reason he doesn't attack like he used to, and it's age. Tim Duncan is 33, but there is nothing preventing a user from feeding it to Duncan EVERY possession. Maybe make it so older players have a lower durability rating and lower stamina. I don't really know the solution, so I wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were about this.

Yeah, there should be some decline as the player gets older.

Then you have people who will play Kobe 40 minutes/game because even at 31, Kobe's stamina rating is like 95. Where's the penalty for playing someone that old that many minutes?

Re: 2k Needs to Establish the difference between older and younger players

should be able to play an older guy in association for 40 min occasionally. penalty should work with ongoing fatigue in the season. if the team has a back-to-back, or heavy week of games, old guy should take a huge hit in fatigue in the second /third,fourth game. also recovery rate for old guys should be real slow compared to the 20 yr old guys. injury risk should go up if old guy plays too many minutes.

fatigue management for those older teams/players should be a big part of a season in order to have all your guys ready to play in the post-season.

post-season penalties should be reduced because it is a loooong post-season and even old guys bring it and are ready to play big minutes

i don't think 2k should limit this because what someone does in their association hurts no one else and they should be able to do what they want. if they want to play kobe 48 min a game, let them
