Re: Post Draft Combine Player Stats

I'm almost embarrassed to post mine now... Seeing these other stats shows that he may never make it to the league. Some of these other players (40 and 30 point averages, 13 steals a game) are definitely hungrier!! Lol. My player may have to go and finish school... OR there is always playing over seas.

Devin Wright
Athletic Point Guard
6'3 176 pounds
24.2 ppg
8.7 rebounds (2.2 offense)
6.7 assists
2.2 steals
.7 blocks
2 turnovers
.575 fg %
0 3pt %

A+ every game. Projected to go 9th pick, 2nd round.

Oh yeah... 42 overall. Killer mid range jumper (80) yet it helped very little with my overall.

Re: Post Draft Combine Player Stats

Well, at least we know who the cheesers are. Take notes 2k.

Seriously, if you're averaging 30 points a game, you shouldn't be averaging 10 rebounds and 10 steals too (at least not when you're rated in the 40's). Your player should be laying on the court, face down, not breathing due to doing everything on the court.

I'm on my second go round, and I think I put up pretty solid stats, but I can only imaging these people are running around on offense calling for the ball nonstop, and are the one's who are glued to the steal button on defense.

My first player was a 6'8" athletic SF, trying to make someone similar to a Travis Outlaw, wanted an athletic guy who was solid on both sides of the ball. He ended up being cheese and when I'd drive to the bucket he'd be able to dunk on 3 people. He averaged something like 20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 52% from the field, and like 30% from 3.

Second player is a 6'4" offensive PG. He's pretty good as well, averaging like 25 points a game, 5 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 steals a game. I've had 2 double doubles and got real close to a triple double.

I'm considering starting over with a PF or a C to see what it's like to be down low, but I think PG is probably going to be the most fun. (and most relative to what I know since that's what I played in high school)

How do you cheese versus the computer?

"Oh darn there goes another one of those cheesers who score 30+ a game, oh gosh he's a cheeser"

Not that serious. Your 'PG' is 6'4" which instantly gives him a size advantage over every PG in the league and there is no 1 guard in the NBA that averages over 22 pts a game so your 25 ppg I consider 'cheesy'.

Have you seen Outlaw play? Dude dunks on NBA players, that's what happens when you make an Athletic SF 6'8", you can't shoot but your a giant who can leap so of course your going to dunk on people.

Re: Post Draft Combine Player Stats

Just played an UNBELIEVABLE game.

25 Points
10 Rebounds
13 Assists
16 Steals
1 Block
A+ Overall, A+ Offense, A+ Defense

But i'm sure other people have had better games, but this one was my best so far.

Same way you cheese against a human? By using exploits of the game.

I'd probably say something like 75% of the PG's in the league are 6'3" ish as well, 6'4" really isn't a huge advantage, especially since he's 185 pounds, which makes him the same height as Jason Kidd, but 25 pounds lighter. (Jason Kidd 6'4", Agent Zero 6'4", Rodney Stuckey 6'5") I created the point guard to replicate Gilbert by the way. Gilbert's last season where he actually played a decent amount of games he averaged 28 points, your point of him being "cheesy" because he can score is void.

It's not like my player is averaging a triple double, that's a little insane.

And sure Outlaw dunks on people, but I wouldn't expect someone who's rated a 43 to be able to just leap and dunk on 3 other potential NBA draft picks.
