Why does almost no one besides me seem to care about the AI not shooting jumpers?

Yeah...I basically put the CPU's take close shots at 10, and max the take midrange shots to 100, and put take treys at 40. Occasionally you'll see bigs take bad, bad shots, but the payoff is great ball movement and midrange work since the CPU no longer focused on forcing it in to the cutter. It was funny to see Shaq pullup for the baseline 18-footer, lol.

And I just looked through the entire 2K10 Wishlist thread... 627 posts, and I found TWO that brought up the jumpers off dribble issue.

And one of them was mine -_-

I'll save the replay of every CPU pullup, and also post the shot chart the next time I play, bro.

Adjust CPU tendacies "take midrange" to 100, "take close shots" at zero, and watch every open shooter launch...even 350 lb centers unfortunately.

Open shooters taking jumpers isn't the problem. The problem is never seeing this:

I'd say the same thing to you-- I got to see YOUR sliders. I'll post mine later, and I'll say the same thing to you that I said to McCoy. I'd like to see videos of the CPU shooting mid range off the dribble for you

LOL I had the same thing happen as well. Gasol coming off a baseline screen, catching the ball at the 3pt line and shooting it. Busted out laughing seeing it when it happened but I wasn't upset that it did happen but just surprised a little bit. It usually happens at least once every 20 games or so, that's probably why it doesn't bother me as much.

Why are you looking there when there were similar threads posted in here about this SAME exact thread that you made regarding the issue?
