WHAT DO U LOVE ABOUT NBA 2K9

since there has been a rash of 2k9 bashing, i decided to post a 2k9 love thread... let the love begin:

i love the fact that each game plays out differently... my star might be in the zone one game, then ice-cold the next.

(after editing sliders) i also love the MANY lay-up animations that weren't there last year

This Forum isn't for learning moves or sliders or what teams weaknesses are and their strenghts. What players play better defense against other players. Which players will out-hustle others. Who's weak on perimeter defense and who is a sleeper that can shoot the lights out. These cats is worried about the CPU does this and that. They not trying to inform people about what the good aspects of the game are. They want to focus on the negative. Well heck...I say 2K sports already got your money...so put the game down if you don't like it. These people don't want to be informative about the game. They want to CRY.

That's why this hasn't been replied to yet fam. I like 2K9 better than 2K8 because it's HARDER! If you want a SIM game where they exactly mimmic the NBA...then go to an NBA game.

I voted for 2k8 only because I have played it a bunch and love it. Close games enough trips to the foul line etc.. it feels good. 2k9 I haven't played enough (only a couple games w/ by brother) 2k9 felt a little different, if I played it more it might get a better score.

Animations. Go play Live 09, then pop 2k9 back in. You will notice the importance of animations

I love the longevity of this game. I can seriously play this game faithfully until the next version comes out. Plus with the mods on the P.C. version, they have really opened up Pandora's Box! I also love the dunk animations and the fluidity of dunk animations. My greatest b-ball game lists follows in no specific order:

online leagues. The depth of the stat tracking is unrivaled. It is even more in depth than the stat tracking that you see in the association mode. If you haven't found an online league to join with other sim ballers, you are not experiencing the game at its full potential and that is a shame. Sure there are exploits in the game, but if it is outlawed in a sim league where enforcement ranges from suspensions or outright expulsions, this game is a basketball heads dream come true.

Im the jazz by the way...and I am in the top 10 in the league in all the sim categories: assists, shooting percentage, three point percentage, double doubles, etc.
