Goody's fundamental sliders(hof simulation sliders)

This is for both CPU AND HUMAN, ALL ARE THE SAME

If you change NOTHING ELSE IN YOUR GAME, at least change the tendencies to what Ive listed, you will see a complete change in how the game plays. This will not make the game any harder or easier really, just more realistic.

Hall of fame, 50 speed, 12 mins, real shooting percentage for both, and 75 ft difficulty(might need to go higher still testing)

Offense 60 55 50 45 60 40 33 47 60 33

This will completely overhaul how the game plays. It will feel like a different game entirely. Scores will be realistic, Box scores are as close as Ive ever gotten them(other than steals and fts really, still working on those). Ive even gotten more offensive rebounds per game, something I rarely see on others sliders....

You will see things happen that you've never seen. You will rarely make a pass for an attempted assist where the person gives up a wide open shot to just waste time or pass back(unless its not their shot/range). You will see people cutting to the basket on almost all plays, running the baseline, you'll see different angles taken to the basket. It just revamps the whole game...

Try em out and give me some feedback.

Come on people try these out. At least try out the tendencies. if you have a set you like on everything else, just change the tendencies. The game play will be night and day. Cpu will move around during plays trying to set up assists for you in the post and with back door cuts. When you pass the ball(if you play myplayer or preferred position) your teammates will shoot if they're in a spot they can make it from.

I know Im new to posting sliders, and Im late to the party, but I promise these sliders will show you things you've never seen in this game. On normal sliders(and even some posted here), the cpu doesnt play inside out like most teams in the nba would. It doesnt value easier shots enough. It doesnt try to get in the paint.

AND YOU NEVER SEE A BACKDOOR CUT. Just watch a real nba game then play or watch one on normal sliders and even some here. YOU WILL NEVER SEE A BACKDOOR CUT(maybe once in a blue moon or once a game) ITS RIDICULOUS. REAL BASKETBALL PLAYS HAVE BACK DOOR CUTS(at least 90% of them have ONE). AND NOT EVERYONE DRIVES DIRECTLY AT THE HOOP, sometimes you have to go around the congestion.

Please just try these and you will see Im right.

You can do what you want with the rest of the sliders(you dont have to use mine), I just want people to notice the difference and realize that my tendencies fix how the cpu plays around you.....

nice sliders so far i like them havnt quite finished a game yet but there looking good... only prob is high turnovers but that might be a problem with coach profile... and i also switched freethrow diff to 60

You could lower steal in abilities for both cpu and human to 50 or 55 and that would help, just dont mess with pass rating. It has to be between 45 and 48 to get a realistic amount of bad passes which stop the clock and allow more substitutions.

great sliders only thing was the freethrows werent dropping and 3pt 20% for us and 25% for the other team but i play heavy defense on coach profile so that may be part the reason otherwise the slider was amazing best yet and i will be using these ty =)

I prefer a lower scoring more misses and rebound game then a shootout.

If you want more scoring and easier scoring, boost inside close med 3pt and layup SUCCESS under offense by 5 for both cpu and user.

Tried these today with bedwardsroy's rosters. The sliders actually aren't bad. Rebounding numbers were spot on (totals hovering in the high 40s, offensive rebounds hovering around 10). You already mentioned it but free throw attempts needs to be bumped up a bit. Maybe it's just me, but I'm not a fan of real shooting percentage. Had OKC go 36% or so playing against Orlando

I think you may have a point with the real shooting percentage(at least for regualr shots, not free throws). I think difficulty might need to be 80 or higher to really see people miss more free throws.

Im working on an update to these sliders. I know for sure now that people have mentioned things that I started to notice after words so if you see something you dont like, I need to know. I might not have seen it in my matchups or didnt give it enough creedence to look into tweaking it.

Im also tweaking more of the abilities as the longer I play and watch, I see things that need to be regulated or boosted. I'm hoping to update these in the next 2 days. Just want to make sure I get enough games in to really feel them out with multiple styles used.

If anyone has any suggestions Im more than open to them. Maybe even some tweaks you made to the set that you liked and why. I dont want to be a dictator with these sliders. Im just trying to help people get better playing games where everything that should be in the game, is in the game!
