[PS3] can we add created players to classic teams?

since the classic sixers dont have charles barkley and the 1998 lakers are missing nick van exel and rick fox. can i make or download these created players and put them on their classic teams????
and to add i still dont have my copy im getting it next week

Doesn't look like it; the classic teams don't show up on the "assign teams" list for free agents.

Hoping they'll patch this, either allowing adding CAPs or other players to classic teams, or allowing us to edit all classic player information, including names, so we can replace the Joe Davis 98s with real and missing players. But that is probably exactly the reason we can't do this, to avoid opening 2K Games up to lawsuits that they implicitly encourage the user to create players that have refused to allow their likenesses in the game.

Hopefully they can get Sir Charles' rights and add him in later, or next year, Then we can get the '92-'93 Suns and the '98-'99 Rockets (Charles, Hakeem, Scottie Pippen and Stanley Roberts).
