Why is my created player asking for so much salary

I created a player and added him to FA in My League. He is 87ovr and a rookie. Why is he asking for 40 million per year?

How do I get this down or at least get him on my team. My available salary is only 7 mill.

Because if he’s an 87 OVR rookie then he’s probably gonna be the GOAT. Ways of making it easier to sign guys though are:

Make Contract Negotiation Difficulty 0
Make the top 3 contract sliders (the min/max/curve ones) 100-100-0
Make your guy’s Intangibles temporarily 25
Change your guy’s position to something ridiculous, like if he’s a PG, make him a C, then change back after he signs

Lol. You create the best rookie of all time and want him to demand less than max salary?


You could export his player DNA, change all his ratings to 25, sign him, and then import the original player DNA.
