Why freethrows so easy this year?

Shooting more hard but freethrows went completely backwards this year. super easy even with the slider turned to 100

Yeah, it is driving me crazy, too. I interpret the Free Throw slider like the other shooting sliders: The lower the number the higher the difficulty. Right now, I have Free Throw slider at 0, and I have mass-edited MyLeague Free Throw attribute by subtracting 15 from everyone. It is a little harsh: Just completed a game where the winning team made 68%. I will see how the next game goes before adding 5 back for everyone if needed.

That’s an incorrect interpretation. The free throw slider is backwards compared to the shooting sliders. You have to raise it to make it more difficult. So at 0 you have actually made it as easy as possible to shoot free throws.

I wish they would make it the same as the shooting sliders but it isn’t. I don’t have a big issue with it though. I think 2K20 was easier shooting free throws than 21.

The slider does not work. Neither this year nor last year. We went from Timing to RealFT% last year, as even on 100 it was way too easy to hit freethrows. At least on RealFT% percentages were somewhat normal. We have it set to 100 again this year and no matter if timing or RealFT%, league average is 90.5% in our online league. Worst team hitting 81.8%, best team hitting 95.2%. 17 out of 27 teams shoot 90% or above.....

I know on timing it definitely worked in 2K20. I haven’t tested it this year. It won’t affect RealFT% either way.

All I can say is I’m definitely not hitting 100% with Plumlee lol!

Yeah i play Real FT% and see very few misses. I would go with timing but i imagine that that doesn’t impact the CPU, which always shoots lights out as well. Wasnt like this in 2k20

Re: Why freethrows so easy this year?

I must suck. I am constantly missing ft’s and had numerous games under 70 percent from the line
