TD Garden and Madison Square Garden next gen

Just wondering if with the new gen the TD Garden for the Celtics and the Madison Square Garden for the Knicks will be fully licensed.

Would be nice, but is it possible they never got Madison Square Garden is because the arena isn't strictly for the Knicks or owned entirely by Dolan. I don't know why the exact reason it was never in the game, TD Garden too is kind of weird.

Fingers crossed they get the rights. But if Current gen 2k21 doesn't have it then I'm expecting next gen to be the same.

EA has the rights to MSG I think.

EA has TD Garden and Madison Square Garden in the NBA Live games. I'm not sure why 2K don't have their licenses.

EA has had exclusive rights with both for the longest time. So until that changes, its not happening unfortunately.

(Honestly, it probably won't ever happen. EA still has NHL so it's not like they'd give it up just because Live is gone.)

They don't have the rights and even if they did, 2k doesn't scan arenas unfortunately.
